The San Gennaro Foundation - Charitable Programs

All proceeds from the annual PRECIOUS CHEESE FEAST OF SAN GENNARO LA benefit THE SAN GENNARO FOUNDATION, a non-profit organization established to aid children and families in need in the Los Angeles area. Since 2002, due to the generosity of the community and the hard work of the volunteers, the Foundation has raised over $750,000 in funds and benefits for several 501c3 charities, community and cultural organizations.

  Provides support to LA Police Officers & families in times of catastrophic need.
  
  
• USO CHILDREN'S SUPPORT GROUP
  Provides support to U.S. Veterans & families in times of catastrophic need.
  
  
• LAFD CHILDREN'S SUPPORT GROUP
  Provides support to LA Firefighters & families in times of catastrophic need.
  
  
• LAUSD HOMELESS & TEEN PARENT PROGRAMS
  Provides clothing and items needed to keep homeless teens in school.
  
  
• GOOD SHEPHERD SHELTER
  (Annual Easter Basket drive) Provides housing and assistance to women and children from abused homes.
  
  
• PROJECT CUDDLE
  Provides safe and legal alternatives to baby abandonment.
  
  
• WRITE GIRL
  Provides creative writing workshops and mentoring for at-risk teen girls in LA.
  
  
• INSIDE OUT COMMUNITY ARTS

  Provides materials and resources for underfunded programs and special needs.
  
  
• STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
  Provides high school students with assistance for college tuition and supplies.
